A question that we are frequently asked is ‘How much does it cost to travel Australia?’ This is one of those ‘How long is a piece of string’ questions as it really depends on what style of travel you want to do. For us, we travel slow. Often spending weeks or months in one spot, especially if we are working. We eat well, we go out when we feel like it, we buy treats. In short, we live! We have been stopped in Cowra for the whole month and Brenden is currently working pretty much full time. So here is our income and expense report for March 2021.
At the start of this month I made a sneaky trip back to the Gold Coast to surprise our daughter Maddi for her birthday. It was wonderful to see her and we were able to spend a couple of full days together. The highlight of the trip was taking her to Sirromet Winery for a winery tour and tasting. We had a fabulous morning out. It really was a great way to spend a couple of hours!
The trip also gave me a chance to catch up with some of our friends and catch up on all their news.
On my return from the Coast, we spent the week house sitting for family. We had promised to do this for them at the end of last year. Plus it’s something we love doing. It just happened that the week was cool and wet so I spent most of the week indoors. But I did manage to get out most days and take their gorgeous dog for a walk.
