Wow – I’m not sure where the month of November has gone but it sure has flown by. This will be a very short expense report as the whole month has been just work, work, work!
GRAIN SEASON
Both of us were able to pick up work at a Grain Receival site in Central West NSW. It was a fairly slow start to the season due to some wet weather but by the start of November we were in full swing. We have both been working 6 days a week and working 10 to 12 hour days.
Brenden has mainly been operating a front end loader and I have been in the Sample Hut. My role has now finished, but Brenden will continue to work for a couple more weeks. It is a fairly big job to get the various bunkers covered and sealed.
At least with all this work we have been earning and not spending!

NEW FRIENDS
One of the highlights of the month for us was meeting and working with a delightful couple of backpackers. Although they only worked at our site for a short while, we have become firm friends and hope to meet up with them again. We had a couple of great evenings together discussing where we had travelled in Australia and also hearing about their overseas adventures.
INCOME
One of the main reasons we took on the grain work was we knew there would be some long days and therefore the potential for some overtime.
Total Income (all sources) $13, 331.93
