Can you believe it’s Christmas time again already? Have you done your Christmas shopping yet? Do you have a Christmas wishlist? If you’re stuck for ideas here are a few suggestions that might help get you organised!
We reviewed the 15 litre Ice Mule Cooler Bag just recently. They come in a variety of sizes, styles and colours and we think they are perfect for camping, fishing or kayaking.
Ice Mule Coolers are completely waterproof so you can fill them up with ice and I guarantee you that they won’t leak! They are even handy when you are at home too. We have used ours to take our drinks to barbeques and on picnics as well.
Prices for the Ice Mule Cooler range start at $79.95 and can be purchased online.
2. HEMA HX-1 NAVIGATOR
I would be thrilled to find the new Hema HX-1 Navigator under my tree this year. It features over 6,000 Camps Australia Wide and Caravan Parks Australia Wide campsites, caravan parks and dump points.
The HX-1 features a 7-inch multi-touch screen which makes it really easy to use. It can also take geo-tagged photos and record video’s.
It’s a little pricey at around the $650.00 mark but so worth it for the serious traveller.
3. KIDS ANIMAL HEADLAMPS
For the little travellers in your life why not get them one of these cool Companion Kids headlamps? Available as a lion, dog, monkey or frog they will be both practical and fun. And at just $9.95 they are very affordable. You could buy one of each!
4. INFLATABLE DINGHY
One of the best presents that we ever bought our kids was an inflatable dinghy each. Whenever we went camping near a lake or river they would spend the whole day paddling around in it. When deflated they packed up into a small bundle that was easy to store and light weight as well.
This two person model retails for around $35.00 from Tentworld.
5. FLYING LESSONS
I’m thinking this year there might be a few people with ‘drones’ under their Christmas trees. Flying one is so much fun but you need to know how to fly one safely and with confidence to get the most out of it. So if you are on the Gold Coast why not book a flying lesson with Brenden? A three hour lesson will set you back $150.00 and give you a really good knowledge of all the things you need to know.

Enjoy the Festive Season and I hope you continue to ‘travel’ with us in 2017.
