There is no doubting that technology like GPS systems are fantastic when travelling. But I still like to use paper maps that are specific to the area we are visiting. Paper maps are often more detailed, especially the regional ones. I also tend to collect a few tourist information brochures along the way. I use these to refresh my memory when I get home and sit down to write about our trip. So I knew I needed something to use for Map Storage so my maps and info didn’t get lost or torn.
PERFECT MAP STORAGE
I found this solid plastic expandable folder for about $15.00 from Big W. It was exactly what I was looking for and is perfect for Map Storage when travelling. It is lightweight and small enough to be easily portable. Measuring only slightly more than an A4 piece of paper it can easily be slipped under the seat for storage in your vehicle.

A small expandable folder with a handle is great for storing maps and tourist info when on the road. You always know where they are and the maps don’t get damaged.
With several plastic dividers inside the folder it makes keeping all your travel guides sorted.
Your so organised!! I have a bit of a folder at home but I should really keep something in the car so we have it when we need it
I wasn’t always so organised but I’m getting better!
